He's alive because he doesn't name names and he knows that even though he talks about the importance of reading the Protocols that people will dismiss it, due to brainwashing or to fear of certain people. They are so powerful, they don't care if people know what they are doing. It seems what he says is real, as there are other more courageous witnesses, but his self removal from the group is not at all convincing--more like PR for them. He is not at all indignant or outraged.
