So tweeted a poll on Twitter a few days ago for survivors of child abuse, child trafficking, ritual abuse or any kind of childhood trauma. I am interested to know how people were treated when they disclosed, if they have ever disclosed. This is totally anonymous. I can't seee who votes, only the amount of people that voted. I would really appreciate if you could check it out. Theres 2 days left

So glad you're doing this, Becki! I was going to say that I hope you get a lot of response, but in truth, I wish that no one would ever have to be a survivor. :( My heart breaks every day.

Yes I understand. But I would rather there be survivors than victims that don't survive, you know? I'm a praying girl and I do pray that God heals the suvivors enough so that they can share their testimonies to help those children still going through it

I agree 100%. One of the saddest thoughts is that we will never know the true number of those victims who didn't survive.

Yes and unfortunately those that do survive, don't always disclose. I totally understand why that is because the system is so messed up. Honestly, I don't blame them. At the same time it's a big secret to carry all your life. 13 years was too much for me. I can't even begin to imagine how it is for someone to go their entire life with out telling a single soul
