my son just did some time in a maximum security prison in australia in protection because he is young and a first offender so he would have been very vulnerable in mainstream population. however, he had the displeasure of having to share his yard with sex offenders. and there were paedophiles there who committed crimes on a regular basis against children because they know the sentences they will receive even if convicted of raping a child will be light and ..... they are protected in prison so its a walk in the park for them
