But then why was she killed in the first place? Run over accidentally and then hid the body?? That makes no sense. If she was killed in the apartment, then by whom?

She was ritually sacrificed, probably by the Portuguese head of the EU Commission. I wouldn't be surprised if the Podestas were in attendance.
