I remember the big "satanist" scare of the late 80's early 90's. It's frightening now to look back and see how fooled we all were. Everyone I knew thought it was just some story crazies would tell. None of us thought it was real. It just seemed too terrible to be real.

Yes, they dubbed it the "satanic panic" With that meme, they successfully convinced the sheeple that there was "nothing to see here." They made all fhe victims look dishonest/mistaken by inventing "false memory syndrome" and trotting our their paid (CIA) shrink shills to discuss it and "educate" the public on it. I remember thinking, "WTF?" and back then I was just a kid. I had watched Geraldo, etc. and was convinced it was real because of the victims'/whistelblowers' body language and sincerity plus the level of detail contained within their accounts. There were cops on as guests discussing investigations, too. Then suddenly it was all a hoax, the kids and whistleblowers were all liars, and "poof!" they were gone, never to be seen on TV again.

They also spun the narrative with cases like the McMartin prescshool case, where they "investigated" and could not locate any underground tunnels. "Nothing to see here, folks!" That was supposed to be "proof" that the kids had made it all up, prompted by the adults questioning them ("false memory syndrome" again). Years later I learned that, lo and behold, REAL investigators like Ted Gunderson actually went back in to look and located the underground tunnels. Of course, that was NOT reported in MSM. Alex Constantine wrote a lot about this back in the day (it made his career).

I never forgot it. It's one of the reasons I haven't trusted the crap coming out of the media in decades.

I do remember all of that. I was thinking about the daycare just the other day. I had no idea it had been re-investegated. I'm probably about to lose a big part of my day on duck, duck, go. Thanks so much for the info.

Check out the Gunderson Chronicles (I believe it's #2 for McMartin). Lots of good information.
