As soon as he starts talking about sacrificing children, you see his breakdown. He was reliving the moment in his mind, which is textbook PTSD indicator. He can't unsee what's been seen, and it's devastating to him.

Notice, he names no one. He offers nothing by way of identifying characteristics which could be used to locate his partners, his clients, our anyone else involved. He's scared shitless, but determined to tell what he can.
