I noticed a strange error when trying to upload a pizzagate related image to ImgTC. so I went to ask the creator about it on Voat, and noticed that he deleted his account.

I can upload other images just fine, but for some reason this image acting up: https://img1.steemit.com/0x0/http://i.imgur.com/WKj2H2i.png Which I found here: https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1429561.
Try uploading it, and you'll get this.
"Unable to display image. It has either been moved or deleted for violating the Terms of Use."
Even after renaming, it still wouldn't let me upload it.
Is this the Sli.mg fiasco all over again? (I never did hear what happened to them)

If it is, get ready and back up what you can.
Be aware though that I still haven't verified the validity of that image, which is what I was trying to do when I came across this blog: https://archive.is/QCjd4
"We previously reported that Comet Ping Pong had a seemingly suspicious “protected” area of its website with an array of password-protected zip files, as shown below:"
https://archive.is/QCjd4/71c433a7e9e78413835f20ca1fdd2383eca4b455
"However, on e of the researchers has debunked the claim that this is suspicious, as can be seen in this discussion. This development shows that confirmation bias has not taken over the research — participants are narrowing down aspects that are do seem geniuinely suspicious or remarkable by discovering that some of the discoveries, after all, are not. In other words, they are fact-checking themselves as they learn and uncover more."
Besides knowing more about the state of ImgTC, I'd also like to know whether this image was actually "debunked"..

Uploads fine for me. I'll try to figure out what the issue was.

Hmm. Still getting the error message when I try to upload it. Furthermore when I change your URL from "i." to "www.", the error message shows up https://www.imgtc.com/f80TREN.jpg
From my understanding, your direct image links start in "i." while regular links start in "www.".
Also for whatever reason, one thing I noticed is that the file-size for the image you uploaded is larger. (155.4 kB vs. 107.6 kB)
FYI this is my original source from which all mirrors were based from.

Thanks for replying back!

Were you uploading from your computer or remote url?

I don't know what a remote url is. I'm just using firefox on my computer. My OS is linux if that matters.
