Headline is BEYOND misleading, Owner of Nascar has zilch to do with it, he's the owner of a CT race track. Seriously, it makes us look like jerks to twist words to that extent.
It's just discouraging to see so much of this -- and the old headline was displaying whenever it was that I opened it. Sorry if I came off as harsh/attacking, it's just a SUPER important and basic factual detail that changes the fundamental nature of the post. I came across as harsh but only because I care deeply about representing things accurately, both to help active researchers and newcomers. Skeptics especially will discount everything based on a single thing like that -- which they shouldn't, but it's the reality.
JeremiahSinclair you were right in your original comment as this was the title"correction"

The title should read "Owner of NASCAR racetrack". He is not the owner of NASCAR sorry."
You were right it's not a NASCAR track. It's a track that where a NASCAR sanctioned series races.
IMO OP sub was click bait to earn up votes in order to cast downvotes.
When called out on the fact there was no research whatsoever, the OP claims not to have online capabilites. That didn't stop OP from posting this clickbait.
The Mods have chastised others for click bait and other subs have been removed for not adhering to the subverse rules.
Then OP tried to shred you when you gave an honest reply. It's ok to trust your instincts.
Keep in mind NASCAR is, as far as I know, the only American sport that is solidly Christian based. A prayer is said before every race to give thanks and pray for everyone's safety during the event. In fact, an invocation is usually given at all the short tracks too. There are many that don't like that aspect of the sport and would love to see it go away. I'm not saying there aren't predators in every aspect of life/sports but this is a ridiculous sub by OP. Here is a link to an actual update with current articles regarding Bruce Bemer, William Trefzger and Robert King. It's lengthy and includes a NASCAR team, but is at least researched.

You're right they look for every possible detail that could be off. I don't think I can edit without deleting and resubmitting maybe mods can help us on that one

It's called an honest mistake. Your comment is beyond useless as I already corrected it

No worries lol bullshit is a trigger for most of us

Haha well I don't think super-misleading headlines are a bullshit trigger, but I could have been less of a dick about it ;)
