It's truly asinine to say that wishing for the perverse to be revealed is itself perverse. As if my saying "I want us to get pictures of ABC doing XYZ" is equivalent to the crime I wish to be revealed. Obviously everybody wishes this whole thing were untrue. But we know it's not, the crime is real, the crime has happened, and pussyfooting around hoping for some incriminating real estate record or something similar instead of just a clear video of child rape – as fucking horrific as that would be (and I know there are souls who would watch it and confirm, I don't think I would) – is just naïveté, if not straight up stupidity.
