Duck duck go is worse than google, and your information is not private... Just like any site you use on the internet. There are zero sites that give a fuck about your anonymity. I have no source for those claims, But It's 2017 and I'm not retarded.
Ninja Edit: Or maybe I was just shitty at searching when I used Duck duck go. But If you use google correctly, it's as good as any search engine. If you just type shit into the search box and expect good results, then yeah, google blows.
