I gave up eating meat (I caved and am eating it again due to my husband), and highly advise it if you can do it. We have given up movies (since Hollywood is so compromised) and cable as well. This allows us to buy better food. We are now trying to go to free parks, outdoor concerts, etc. The organic meats are the best bet if you want to eat it twice a week or do a special dinner on Sunday. I do not trust the meat industry either. I never eat pizza anymore, the thought of it just makes me sick. Never liked it anyway with all that disgusting layer of cheese. Who knows what is in that too? Stop the Meat is the Best Solution.
I don't eat pork ever. I do still eat grass-fed organic meat. Yeah, I haven't watched movies or TV Drama or anything really for years. Truth is much more exciting. A bat was found in a WalMart pre-packaged salad a few days ago ... I hate to eat or buy anything from there.

The way I see people gorging themselves on pulled pork I think they are putting something in the meat to make people want it all the more. There is something going on in this country with our meat supply and people had better wake up. They don't want to hear or read about it because they are too addicted to it. Lol. I'm scared to death of pork too. A pig will eat anything, I know all about it. They were "unclean," right up there with a dog, in Biblical times. A cow has three stomachs and this helps get rid of toxins, swine only have one. But I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir. "The other white meat." No thanks.
I also read about how where their lungs are or something about their lungs that they really are not the best meat choice. Yes, that was a really big campaign that worked, did it not? The white meat ad. Yuck:(((
