The time to strengthen federal laws regarding trafficking and child molestation is now. The Republicans are in control of Congress, Trey Gowdy is busy proposing new legislation and Trump professes a desire to tackle these same issues. We should all be contacting our respective Congressman and urging action. The drive to reduce age of consent is a real one. At least one recent defendant named Richard Keenun who was charged with numerous counts of raping a 4 year old girl over a period of several years has defended his conduct by stating that she was not only a willing participant but she was the one who initiated the affair! https://patheos.com/blogs/2016/09/former-mayor.
