So, as an after action review (AAR) do you wish to share with us whatmistake you made which led you to be doxxed?

Yes. Early on when I posted the Steemit article about the Alefantis victim, my credibility was being questioned and I thought I would prove that I was a real person by linking to my FB. Since my first name on FB is not my real name and my last name on there is my husband's last name (I didn't legally take it when we got married), I didn't think it would be tied back to my actual identity. It took him a couple months, but as of a few days ago, he has my full name, my location, my profession, and personal details. My reddit account of the same name is 7 years old and my post history was combed through to find out small details about my life. I found yesterday that someone has archived every single page of my comment history on archive.is.

Live and learn, I guess. I won't be giving away personal details in the future.

Let this be a lesson to others.

Always keep your Alts COMPLETELY separate. No shared email addresses. No linked Google or Facebook services like calendars, For-Sale listings, podcasting accounts, etc.

Thank you for your good works Abortionburger.

Absolutely. Just a few nights ago a user posted his FB and encouraged others to do the same to "prove they were real people." Dumbest thing ever.
