I didn't see anything abnormal back in the time their daughter went missing, I did find it dumb to leave their kid alone in a hotel room. But that doesn't equate to guilty. An audit of their past income could be interesting though, if you suspect foul play on their part.

Let me guess, they are IVF babies?
McCann had same and after I looked into it, sure enough the child with uncommon hereditary condition was an IVF baby.

the McCanns are both "doctors". Yes IVF ans surrogacy was used. Madeline was specially bred, no doubt.
