I will not argue one bit about human greed, its abundant. However!

Life feeds on life. There is no way around this. There is nothing of nutritional value that was not once a living thing. Who are you to decide the value of life? Plants, fruits, vegetables, nuts, et cetera, were all also given life.

Life feeds on life. You pretentious fool. This is the nature of existence, and your delusional moral high ground is more of an affront to nature then killing and consuming animals ever was.

Please just stop eating and die, if you really want to be so morally upstanding.

No one is saying to stop eating. That is exaggerating. We are just saying that it has gotten out of hand too. Like everything in this country. Moderation. We eat meat tree times a week and are trying to cut it down to two. Once in a while we fall off the wagon, but not very often. One reason we are doing it is that we know the world is going crazy and some have to make up for others. We are making that choice. Last year we went out with a bunch of people for Oktoberfest and people were just gorging themselves on all kinds of pork roast, pork sausages, pork everything and tons of beer. They were falling all over themselves at the bar. We left it was so disgusting. It used to be that men did this, now the women are joining them. I think they are putting something in the food. Really. Think about it.

I don't disagree with what you're saying here, of course its out of hand.

Yes. But I do believe they are putting something in our food to make us eat more.

It's certainly possible. I think it may simply just be that fact that food is being made to be as delicious as possible, while also being abundantly available for consumers.

The answer is almost always profits.
