I will not argue one bit about human greed, its abundant.
However!
Life feeds on life. There is no way around this. There is nothing of nutritional value that was not once a living thing. Who are you to decide the value of life? Plants, fruits, vegetables, nuts, et cetera, were all also given life.
Life feeds on life. You pretentious fool. This is the nature of existence, and your delusional moral high ground is more of an affront to nature then killing and consuming animals ever was.
Please just stop eating and die, if you really want to be so morally upstanding.
You better oppose Nature directly then, it's the biggest death machine there is.
And who are you to say what plants and animals actually feel? Or can and can't feel?
Do you actually know? No, you dont, you only grasp at a facade of virtuous assumptions.
This is the Truth YOU need to confront; the nature of life, is to devour other life. Your entire Physical being is the remains of life that came before you.
I am very aware this hurts you because of your delicate and childish worldview. Life is a brutal and unforgiving beast. You can live your life however foolishly you wish, just keep from pushing your unnatural vegan bullshit.
So, Comic, you'd be content to be a Podest hog roast - and if they decided to improve the recipe by torturing, raping and then skinning you alive [just to increase the adrenaline, you understand] and decide to dig out your pituitary gland while you are alive [it just gives me a better buzz if it's really fresh], you're OK with that?
And if eating baby cows [veal] is just fine and dandy, then why not eating baby humans - or toddlers?
The line between right and wrong - indeed the idea itself - is just a human concept, and arbitrarily drawn.
You are correct there is an arbitrary line. Not sure why you think I would be ok with cannibalism though. Youre getting too excited.
For what its worth, I wish slow painful death on all the elitest assholes involved with all this sick shit. Not sure why you think I'm on their side...
I read your remarks in another thread about Crowley, so I've got your worldview. I don't like it, and I oppose it. The best quality a human can possess is empathy for their fellow man, and then for creatures. A person well imbued with empathy needs virtually nothing else to be an asset to the world. While the majority of religions collide in one way or another, the fundamental tenet is the same. Suffering is temporary, because it is within the purview of the Creator to change nature, and religious texts indicate a definite timeline where nature will be changed. In the meantime, it is incumbent upon those who wish to partake in the new nature to strive toward an ideal of least suffering, however impractical that may be.
So you got my world view from that? Whats my view then?
The " best quality" you claim for humans was held in abundance by Crowely, as evidenced by his work. He promoted love and unity. He spoke out for the rights of woman and children in early 1900's. He helped even those he disliked.
I dont worship the guy, or even agree with everything he says, but I have at least read most of his books and ideas, and It blows my mind how misrepresented Crowley is.

Capacity to suffer is what distinguishes us from plants. To feel pain.
You are the selfish one and your oration will convince only those unwilling to confront the truth.
We oppose all systematic death machines.

Methinks, thou doest protest too much!

Protesting too much about bacon/vegan. I hadn't considered whether you were with "us" or against us.

Seems like you missed alot of consideration in-between your huge leaps in logic.

All too easily done!

Correction, I've got part of your worldview.
CosmicChrist ago
Maybe you do, maybe you don't. Either way assumptions are being made.
ForestTygerPeach ago
Don't assume to understand nature. EAT FROM THE TREE OF LIFE.
CosmicChrist ago
Exactly! EAT from the tree of LIFE.
Now were getting somewhere.
