As far as I know, the airfield was in Syria, therefore Trump bombed Syria. The fact that there were no casualties is a factor but it does not remove the fact that he bombed Syrian soil.

I disagree. I think that they are terribly helpful in releasing us from the "trump is going to stop them" catharsis we were in. This goes doubly for me.
