Wikipedia: As founder, leader and principal spokesperson for the CDF, Mrs. Edelman worked to persuade Congress to overhaul foster care, support adoption, improve child care and protect children who are disabled, homeless, abused or neglected. A philosophy of service absorbed during her childhood under girds all her efforts. As she expresses it, "If you don’t like the way the world is, you have an obligation to change it. Just do it one step at a time." Never thought about Edelman one way or the other, until now. We have read before on here about how foster care sometimes take children out of their homes to place them in undesirable homes where abuse happens. I do remember her husband stepping down from a position because he became angered by Hillary's statement about those black children being "predators'. But those are two different people. But I have to add that her husband Peter is now a Georgetown Law Professor.Hmm. I hope I am wrong.
