That's the paranoid concern I had... yes. If their MSM efforts fail, and the "planting evidence on politicians devices" stories fail, and their Russian BS narrative has already fallen apart (notice how all news outlets have gone totally silent on Russia this weekend?)... and the citizen journalists/semi-insiders/fringe news outlets are all that's left?
I would fully anticipate an attack, via some of the techniques released from Wiki's Vault7, to compromise our systems and/or the systems of independent news/blog/YouTubers with the exact same sick and twisted shit we're trying to expose them of.
Given that this can be accomplished with what seems to be no bread crumb trails pointing back to them... hell, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if some "seeds" have already been planted.
