I've never heard of the word autist. It appears to be a spectrum of autism.

Why would you be describing pgate in terms of autism or referencing it on this forum?

I think they are trying to identify with Asperger's syndrome, the "smart" end of the spectum.

But yeah, calling themselves "autists" -- well, it proves the point. :)
