Has the place owned by JA in Berlin - Nalu Diner been looked into?

I don't believe so. I'm looking at some of it now.

But they also say this:

Unfortunately we’re not able to offer the thing that was our inspiration in the frst place: a late night diner breakfast. The neighborhood has changed quite a lot since we were fresh off the jet plane, and yeah, we kind of have, too! But maybe one day it will all come full circle and we’ll be able to stay up late at night drinking filter coffee and eating breakfast platters.

If you have spent much time in Europe, they are very different than us when it comes to business hours. They can be extremely traditional, particularly in smaller towns. It makes sense to me that there is no call for breakfast or burgers after 3 pm. Casual restaurants there often close after lunch and formal dining starts after 6 or so. I could see casual fair being served after 3 being called "late night".

I believe it, where i live in North America, you couldn't shop on sundays(you can now)....businesses were forced to close, except the coffee shops the church goers liked to go to after church, they could stay open lol and only til 6pm at the latetest

It was a huuuuge deal getting rid of that law, the local debate was quite heated

And I don't believe it's actually law there, just old customs.

Edit: I backpacked Europe for several months and neighborhood schedules were difficult to figure out, lol.
