I use youtube-dl (Linux) it works very well - and goes beyond YouTube, it's always up-to-date (youtube-dl -u) and can download individual videos, playlists or entire channels just provide the url on the command line with quotes: https://rg3.github.io/youtube-dl/

Here are my recommended options:


youtube-dl -f best --yes-playlist --ignore-errors --no-cache-dir --all-subs "http://vid/chan/playlist"


There is also a Windows version: https://yt-dl.org/latest/youtube-dl.exe
