Rather esoteric but...

The pineal gland is sacred to many secret/open societies/groups. -- http://www.richardcassaro.com/occult-symbolism-behind-pine-cone-art-architecture -- Ancient Egyptians regarded the pineal gland very highly, as do many others. As I understand it, the calcification aspect is desired so as to negate any possibility of the individual becoming truly aware, with respect to the Kundalini. The pineal gland is a rabbit hole as deep and interconnected as philosophy, or religions, or Annunaki, etc. Very fascinating stuff but don't get caught up in the New Age b.s.

The swirl between the eyes of the Hindu statue...so what's the relation between 3rd eye and hypnosis, or is it coincidence?

Good question. I know swirls are everywhere in history. The native americans used swirls in the southwest -- I've personally seen a lot in petroglyphs -- https://duckduckgo.com/?q=southwest+native+americans+swirls&t=lm&iax=1&ia=images&iai=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.5cense.com%2FSW%2Fpetroglyph_detail_swirl_eye.JPG and also the Dogon People (ancient egyptians?) use the spiral -- https://duckduckgo.com/?q=dogons&t=lm&iax=1&ia=images&iai=http%3A%2F%2Fn7.alamy.com%2Fzooms%2F98f043b8a264443ab4ff93c17e198cb5%2Fsongo-village-rock-art-dogon-cliff-of-bandiagara-land-of-the-dogons-axfthy.jpg -- being loosely related to the original version of string theory.
