Anecdotally, I have a friend who is from the Phillippines and just got back from a trip their, and he says everything about him is true. Oddly enough, he also supports him, but there ya go.
Well, I can understand when things get so terrible in a country that has so much turmoil because of drugs, killing, robberies, to the point of mayhem , that the rest of the citizens become so desperate they will accept almost anything. This is how governments are able to get rid of the poor, because they will always be blamed.
