Step 1 - Replace Acting Police Chief Peter NewSham with someone who cares

This. But I am not holding my breath. He is either an enabler or one of them, if you know what I mean. I have seen it written that they take girls instead of boys because they do not fight back. Girls must be taught Marshall Arts. Actually all kids should be.

You are so right about all three points. All children should be taught self defense and that it is okay to offend rather than risk your safety. Education in dangerous situations and strategies is a must.

We will have to fight tooth and nail for this or pay for it ourselves. This could be a gofundme to help pay for those who can not afford. I am willing to chip in for the kids at our nearest school. But am sure those in power may protest. That is a big problem. For they will be mostly after those that can not afford. People also need to empower their girls. Turn them into fighters. Not starting fights, but fight to defend.

I like your ideas for GoFundMe or to offer scholarships to a place you think is great. I took a class that I felt was better than anything I had ever seen before; it was run by a cop who teaches cops but he would teach any child 12 or over with parental consent. Class size was about 20. Lots of parents brought their children and in no time the kids were flipping their parents. There is something very powerful for children about attending these classes with their parent(s) because it shows parents' commitment to their well being, that it is important enough that parents need to learn, too, and that kids should flip anybody, including an authority, when their safety is threatened. Kids LOVED tossing their parents around, needless to say. ;o)

Do you remember the name of this program? I would like to see if I can find it? Thanks0:)

It was a few years ago and I checked but it's not there. It was associated with the county police and oriented toward self defense, so it had physical moves (kick, strike, throw) but also it had situational awareness and weapons out of anything orientation. I saw similar programs on the web, labeled as anti-rape classes (women and girls only) which sound similar from description. But I agree with you that both girls and boys need this training. Although it wasn't a ModelMugging class, there was a poor guy in the padded suit, so you could try your moves on somebody about 160 lbs so that was great.
