If AJ didn't make the lawyer statement on JA, there's a really good chance he would have been sued out of existence like Gawker was. JA would have had money poured into his lawsuit from anyone and everyone who wanted to take down AJ.
AJ isn't stupid. He knows there's clearly something fishy happening. Those of us with an ounce of discernment can see this. He made a calculated move in a much larger war in making the lawyer statement Friday.
Those taking AJ's words literally here aren't seeing the bigger picture.

Oh stop...every business has to carry liability insurance. Alex jones is protected if he is sued. Not only that any lawyer would have waited until discovery and depositions to settle. No one settles in 4 months. Just look around have you ever seen a case setltle in 4 minths. Not even a speeding ticket is fast tracked like that.
