Interesting goings ons and awakenings happening on Twitter today re: #missingdcgirls. I find this one by NCMEC to LLCoolJ somewhat disturbing:

As I pointed out in my response to NCMEC, the keyword being "spike" - sure, there's been no spike at all in the inexplicable, unimaginable number of children that go missing in the D.C. /MD/VA areas vs. the rest of the country's average, it's been at a steady WTF number for years.
sidenote: @NCMEC had initially "liked" my reply but "un-liked" it after I mentioned in the tweet thread that their headquarters are in Virginia and that this is a worrisome fact.

Look at this shit! A whole news report focused on 'debunking' the missing teens by saying "this is a normal rate of abductions". This was tweeted by Jake Tapper. What do they have to gain by saying this shit? It's obvious - they don't want attention on this case.
