I'm actually having lunch with a CIA agent tomorrow. I manage his vacation property and he and his wife are in town. What do I say to him? Anything? We aren't very close, but I've worked for him for a long time and I know he respects and appreciates me. Lol, what do I do??
Well, there are many different departments to the CIA, tey keep departments separate, no sharing of info. What I am saying is that just the fact that you know he works for CIA is something that CIA agents don't normally advertise, and if he does he may work as a receptionist or data entry, you never know. Just because they say they work for the cia doesn't mean anything, it is after they are proven to work there that you should determine their role there.
The thing is, he doesn't know I know. He thinks I believe he's a salesman. I know because it's a small town and I know a banker that worked his loan to buy the property I manage.
Ooohhh, now that is interesting........ Hah, for fun you should start inquiring about his products he sells, you know, show an interest and ask for samples. Do it all in fun to see his uncomfortable reaction, There was a guy on Reddit who did an AMA last year I believe. He was a young ex-cia and his cover was a salesman as wellI just noticed your name. You must be in your 40's or early 50's? Anyway, that song is about a little girl if I remember correctly?
Anyway, you gotta tell me what he says if you ask him, just for shits and giggles. you can pm me. My Dad worked on Black programs all his life, he was one of the top guys on the Stealth Bomber at Northrop, he kept a big secret!
You're on to me ; ) Sad part is I come from a long line of folks on the Hollywood side of things. My dad got us out and became a salesman of "picture frames".
As far as lunch, I appreciate your suggestion of subtlety. I promise I'll let you know how it goes.
