Dr. Phil is a snake oil salesman in the area of mental health. I won't promote anything his show or anything he says. Also, it is highly likely that many, or all, of his "patients" are actors and their situations scripted by hollywood writers.

honestly couldnt give a fuck either way, awareness of corporate media is major for the cause, assuming the cause is actually why youre here...

The same flawed argument could be made about that shill Seaman. Is he still studying pizzagate in Antarctica?

Empire_of_the_mind ago

Seaman is no Dr. Phil, retard.

SuperJohnWayne ago

Elaborate please.

Empire_of_the_mind ago

Seaman is some huffpost blogger twat who jumped on youtube fame pushing pizzagate. honest or not, he's a climber. Dr. Phill is a gazillionaire with a daily fucking tv show that's been on for more than a decade. His audience and reach are in a completely different universe from Seaman's.

But how is his legitimacy superior when he is a money-producing salve for the media elite, who also wants to reap the reward by being entertaining and taking orders from the media execs? He's a pop-culture mental health personality who uses questionable methods on his show. Do you think the media elite want pizza/pedogate exposed? Could this episode have been a red herring despite the legitimacy of the guest?

I watched it. What was the red herring? The show had one clear purpose - to show people that this is real. They didn't pull any punches and didn't push into Cathy O'Brien territory. The lack of names and details of escape and other things were designed to get you to pay attention to the story and the character of the woman. No adult with a clue about people will watch that and think it's fake. Just because many people in certain worlds are part of these sick groups does not mean everyone is. Whatever you think of Dr. Phil, who is not like say Dr. Oz (as you try to suggest), it doesn't mean he's into it when people rape and kill kids. ANY person who has experience in social work or therapy has heard these stories and met these people before. They know it's real - many, many people know it is real. The only thing truly shocking right now is that it appears someone is actually trying to do something about it. I fully expect a person like Dr. Phil to be happy about that and want to do his part - nothing sketchy about that at all.

Red herring in diverting attention away from the govt cabal. You have a point about him probably legitimately caring, and this occurred to me as well, but I don't think his exec bosses care as much, if at all. They are part of the coverup, and possibly perpetrators themselves. He could be involved in it too, as much of Hollywood apparently is.

Empire_of_the_mind ago

How is this diverting attention? It's doing the opposite - he stresses repeatedly, in fact the entire theme of the show, is that there is a cabal of powerful (including govt!) people doing this sort of shit. That was the entire point of the broadcast. It can't be read any other way by a reasonable person.

Ok, I'll watch it again more thoroughly instead of skipping through it. Maybe I can stand hearing him for a full episode, the guy just so irritates me. Did he specifically mention government people were involved, or did you imply it because he mentioned powerful people? Did he equate powerful with the leaders and executives in society, or was he ambiguous in that powerful could mean the MS-13 gang, who then pimps out to Joe public?
