I believe Nancy Schaeffer tried to expose the problem with CPS. I think the problem lies in the ACA. There are parts that allow the Courts to take the children from their parents without much recourse. I read this on here in a report on Nancy Schaeffer. A true hero.
Yes, ACA has added elements but ACA is a recent development. The laws to "protect children" date back to the Social Reform Movement of the 1890s, a Progressive movement. The legal doctrine of parens patriae, or the state as parent, also dates back to the end of the 19th century,.
Nancy Schaeffer was a heroine. May she RIP. Just think, what she exposed was ONLY what was happening in her single county in GA. There are about 3,142 counties in the U.S.
Thank you for your information, I am ready to learn from my fellow voaters. It scares me to think of what parents are facing to just hold on to their own children.

I hear ya, but the judge just interprets and applies the law.
These laws were ushered in by PROGRESSIVES.
Fundamental legal reform is required to change this.
