Newer studies tie homosexuality to maternal stress during gestation; specifically the time of gestation when the brain is developing (2rd trimester)... the simple summation being that stress hormones flooding the mom's bloodstream cross the placenta and alter the brain's wiring.

So, uh, look into more recent research than the 40's. Hell, think of how far they've come with MK Ultra programming since it was conceived.

Maternal stress could also explain homosexuality within the greater animal kingdom, as well, since homo sapiens is hardly the only species that engages in such behavior.

That is quack science.. homosexuality is natural and occurs in a variety of species

That's what I said-- humans aren't the only species that engages in homosexuality. It's well documented throughout the animal kingdom. Do not all animals have mothers? It's within the realm of possibility that the mother's stress could influence that.

Seriously think about it. If the mother is dealing with some sort of stress during pregnancy, her body's response (such as the release of cortisone) triggers a response in the fetus; homosexuality. If shit's hitting the fan (after a genetic legacy lasting as long as DNA has been in existence) that triggers a primitive-brain stress response, it could trigger a pregnancy where the progeny wouldn't have the desire to reproduce via usual means; this could be seen as beneficial as it would help keep overpopulation from happening, and using up more resources (think about when ancestors didn't have grocery stores and were in hunter-gatherer stage or even more primitive); it's a long term strategy for survival by keeping the population in check.

Besides, it's well documented that certain things can be passed down in the genome; anxiety for example. https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2013/12/anxiety-about-certain-things-can-be-hereditary/282383/ http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/next/body/anxiety-may-be-passed-down-generation-to-generation/ http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/science/science-news/10486479/Phobias-may-be-memories-passed-down-in-genes-from-ancestors.html https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/fearful-memories-passed-down/

The way our genome acts is pretty damn amazing.

It occurs when males cannot distinguish between males or females because of physiology, or when social animals like Hyenas use it as a tool to maintain hierarchy. We don't really fall into either category. You know when you're sticking your dick into a guy's butthole, or scissoring another woman with your vagina. It's not really conducive to reproduction, and the proecess doesn't beget the process. It really shouldn't naturally occur from a Darwinian prospective. Thus, we can conclude that it is likely synthetic, and a derivative of our highly complicated societies. More specifically, it appears to be due to propaganda. Just like how the word "teenager" was made up by Tavistock, and introduced to the English language forcibly. This is just another level. I am speaking on this without really caring whether or not we want to have this in our global species. I am just claiming that it is not our choice. Our masters have decided.
