Opperman Report had a show about this a few months ago https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5L5nhsssvc Not really sure what to make of it all, but there's a lot of bizarre things like the Portland location being located near the Shanghai tunnels. A lot of their donuts are sexually themed and explicit and they have a ton of weird shit like "coffin of donuts" that you can order, but they need like a day in advance to prepare. The coffin they put the donuts in reminds me of the child sized coffins on one of the instagram accounts associated with Alefantis. Generally seems to have the same kind of vibe as CPP, if not even stranger in some ways and the Tapei location comes out of nowhere. It's also mentioned in the video that their website claims they are cash only, but they have the ability to purchase things through an online store. They also apparently do "voodoo weddings" that cost up to the tens of thousands and of course aren't official legal weddings.
Ya these guys seem suspicious. If it were just the boy love symbol on a donut and the finger sign I would let it go. But there is way more to this I believe. After looking at their locations on their web site: http://voodoodoughnut.com/mobile/voodoo-doughnut-mobile-locations.php
They have like 7 big locations all around Oregon. And then one in Taipei? Wtf for? This smells funny to me. Is it where they smuggle the kids from to sell?
Good lord...that's a lot of 'coincidences.' And didn't even realize there's a voodoo donut in my adopted home of Taipei(!) Gonna have to pay them a visit...
