Both the pedo triangle, a.k.a. boy-love, and pedo heart, a.k.a. girl love, have a spiral at its base. Why a spiral? Is there some deeper significance to a spiral? I have no idea, but I am wondering whether this might go back to some Egyptian mysteries.

For example, I noticed two spirals carved on the pedestal of an ancient Egyptian king, Khasekhem, when I visited the Ashmolean Museum at Oxford recently. They don't seem like hyroglyphs to me. They seem like symbols.

Take a look at the picture of the stone in the middle. Look at the left side of the stone. Do you see the spirals? Is it just a coincidence? Any thoughts?
