Try to look at this from the perspective of a typical person that tunes into CNN or reads The New York Times.... the people we want to reach and inform.

That's the first thing I noticed. Now people will be asked to look into this AND donate. It would turn me off immediately.

Yes, bad ideal. The other side will make whatever the can out of it. And it will not be good.
