While none of us can judge for Jesus Christ, we are warned by Christ Himself that “many will come in my name, saying I am Christ and DECEIVE many”. Any Christian who believes what preachers say without proving for themselves whether what is said is in line with Jesus Christ, is a sitting duck for false preachers. It doesn’t matter how bombastic the preacher is, that in itself does not determine truth. Being famous and being paid a million dollars a year as a “senior pastor” may impress the “senior pastor”, but it certainly does not impress Jesus Christ.

We were warned of many things. This message has been distorted and subverted by men like Hagee. The message is rejected by many because of men like Hagee. If your preacher has a million dollar salary maybe they are something more than a simple preacher. I'd be skeptical of wealthy shepherds. P.S. don't trust the money-changers either....

You will know them by their fruits.

Johnathan Edwards, of "The Great Awakening" fame, and the famous sermon "Sinners in the hands of an angry God" was so meek and quiet that one could barely hear him :) And a little on the pale and sickly looking side.

This is a bit caustic but a good expose'.
