Also found it interesting how Dutroux gaslit these kids into thinking their parents refused a ransom and was their "savior" for not killing them. Also, that he "allowed" them to write letters to their parents and tossed them, so as to encourage them to believe their parents didn't care. Seems likely to me that a similar technique may be at play in this case, meaning victims aren't stepping forward because they think these pedos are some sort of protectors. Those who haven't been killed, anyway.
