Cool. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I had not seen that submission. Lots of detailed info there. The article I posted just showed up on the website I posted from today. Unfortunately, some of these websites are vague on the timeline. Some don't even show the original publication date. So then I see something thinking it's new and we're making headway only to find out, oh, no, this is that same one from here or there (or wherever) from before. I'm having a serious issue with this watched pot never freaking boiling.
I'm having a serious issue with this watched pot never freaking boiling
Yeah, I can understand that. I think the pot is boiling though, we need to keep in mind that the arrests are happening. Also, if I remember correctly, Weiner's hearing got pushed back to April 4th so we will see what comes of that. Remember, we are the good guys so we have to do things the right way. We don't get to cheat and get away with it.
As for articles, I see your frustration there. With all of this Pizzagate stuff that has come out in the last 2 months alone, I have seen an influx in sites that cover Pizzagate stories that are already old news in this community. They had a sticky up for a while, I think, that said something to the effect of "make sure you search /v/pizzagate for your topic before you post it." The problem there is if you go reply to an old topic that doesn't bump it enough. To counteract that issue, I'd suggest familiarizing yourself with some of our researchers and pinging them to the thread where you have included any new information you've found.
How do I "ping them to the thread"? A couple of times, I've reposted in a different thread something someone else posted as a comment and I then submit that as a comment to the original poster so the original commenter knows I reposted their comment and where. Is that what you mean? If so, is there a simple way to do it because the way I did it had to be the hard way. :-/
Ahhhh! That is an easier way. Sorry. I'm fairly new to this and I'm still hunting around to figure things out. Think I've learned today that just asking when I can't figure something out might be the easiest way. Obviously most of the people on this forum are not averse to helping somebody, even if they're just a newbie with a limited tech skillset (and I do mean limited; no FB, twitter, or smartphones for me; though I can whip up a pretty mean spreadsheet. :-) )
We encourage the yearning for knowledge here. We're a crowdsourced information center, you are sure to find someone here who can answer any question you have. And don't forget there are a ton of subverses other than Pizzagate!
Thanks so much for your help! Unfortunately, I only have time for one subverse right now. But maybe if I could learn to go without sleep ... Unlikely. Sleep is a place where I escape the worry about this stuff happening in the world.
Sleep and research is basically what takes up most of my days anymore. I recently deleted facebook, and I use twitter to promote pizzagate investigation now instead of personal use, so basically I'm entertainmentless. Which has been nice. I have developed a new appreciation for silence.
Also, keep in mind that the upvoat and downvoat system is a big part of this community. If you see something particularly good, upvoat! If bad, downvoat! Very important steps to help the process of the well oiled machine that is this investigation. Peace and love!
Thank you again. I can relate on the entertainment thing. I was debating last night ditching my Netflix. But the documentaries keep me going there; oh, and I recently watched V for Vendetta which was excellent. Good news is I'm reading books again! Peace and love back at ya!
