Vault 7 may very well be a limited hangout, in order to garner favor for wikileaks amongst Trump supporters.
Wikileaks was responsible for leaking all of Podesta's emails during the election campaign, which started off the whole "spirit cooking" thing that took off right before "pizzagate" started trending. So don't throw them under the bus too quickly. They played a role in Trump being elected in the first place, even if it was some intangible role that's hard to quantify.
They also hosted the DNC email hack which may have had an even bigger impact on the election since it was earlier and forced a resignation within the DNC, showed rigging against Bernie, etc.
