I have met girls that went and yes, most know what they were getting into but I am sure some did not. They were kept in large guest house apparently and each night some of them would be selected for 'entertainment'. The problem became the local people of Brunai, a very Muslim country where citizens thought their rulers were as well until some of them learned through outside publications such as People magazine. They were horrified to learn the truth

If the girls were underage, it doesn't matter if "they knew what they were getting into." They were too young to consent, especially to an organized system of international government-run pedophilia.

read my comment - the women that went to Brunei were carefully screened. None of them were underage.

doubtful. I think the Miss America story was a plant meant to divert attention.
