What's also confusing to me is the fact Pamela Anderson was at Abramovic spirit cooking. Pamela, being an animal activist, seems odd to be at one of these since they do use animal blood sometimes (probably human too). Then Anderson meets Julian all the time now?!? WTH? Something isn't adding up

First of all, I don't believe anything Ms Anderson does is sincere. She's an animal activist doesn't mean a thing.
Secondly, I don't believe that Julian is any longer in the embassy. She's being used to prolong the story that he's there.
If you consider those points it's not confusing at all.
