Yes the "pizza related" comment is most likely innocent. But you can't dismiss it because you think old rich white people are incapable of committing a crime. We don't do that in this country. We don't like "White Privilege" right? We don't let you off the hook just because someone is rich and white.
Same deal in this email, there's ambiguity and dismissing it would be the best example of white privilege since people dismissed the "pizza related" handkerchief above.
I don't know if it's "white privileged" so much as it's the idea that most people put politicians on such high moral ground that it's unfathomable to think that they could do anything so heinous.
