I'll look to see where you're going with this. The problem with the pedophile ring story is that it doesn't explain why the McCann's were in Portugal to begin with. I feel like someone close to the McCann's, definitely a friend, put the bug in their ear to get them there. That's always been my contention. From the story about the listening service being wrong, and them setting up their own listening service instead of hiring a babysitter, it just seems like someone helped drive those decisions. Someone that the mother didn't even realize was influencing her. I feel that child, and that family was targeted. So it's possible that a photo was sent, but from the way the family was vilified in the press, there was an agenda behind it. Someone tried to get at that child before and was repelled. Whoever it is not only found a way to get to her, but they also managed to wreak revenge.

Leaving 3 children under 3 alone never made sense to me. They were doctors and should have known better.
Damning? It's laughable someone would think this is incriminating. The McCann's had left their three children alone every other time when on holiday through Mark Warner Holidays. They used the "listening service." The listening service was listed in the brochure they received, and it was only after their arrival that they found there was none offered per the brochure. That's why they set up their own. And if it wasn't safe, Mark Warner Holidays shouldn't have encouraged parents to use it by offering it as a service. Like I said, the smear campaign goes on. It's par for the course, that we blame parents and everybody else for being "stupid", and not the pedophiles that took that little girl. Those are the "stupid" ones that we should be smearing.
