Growing up I had a neighbor who was famous writer and knew HST. I was friends with the kids and heard mentions of HST doing snuff films and sick shit.

You got me thinking about that time this kid was talking about his dad and HST. It was the first time I heard the term "snuff film". I knew what it meant just from the name and the context. It freaked me out at the time. I'm getting flashbacks lol. I tried to forget about it.

I'd rather not mention names. It was a summer house and I hung out with the same group of kids over the years. I remember one occasion where one of the writer's kids was talking about his dad hanging out with HST, Vonnegaut, and other heavy weights. He said something about HST which details are vague but there was something about snuff films. It was a long time ago.
