I'm waiting for someone to provide genuine issues.

In the battle of internet perception, going after the artificial manipulation of it is very important. Whenever I've made a mistake online by calling someone a shill (when they were actually just someone with a different viewpoint) I've immediately apologized. Usually it's pretty easy to tell but sometimes it isn't. I would gladly partake in all ideological discussions :) I had an hour long discussion two nights ago with someone who I initially thought was a shill. Turns out he was a guy who battle conspiracy theorists online and had genuine concerns about pizzagate. It ended amicably :)

My default position is not as archaic as you're assuming.. I'm just still angry from being shadow banned lollllllll

I don't attempt to use shill argument tactics against people who have genuine belief differences

My problem with David Seaman:

His Book, Dirty Little Secrets of Buzz: "How to Attract Massive Attention for Your Business, Your Product, or Yourself"

http://contactanycelebrity.com/cac/dirty-secrets-buzz/david-seaman/

His interview on this book: "I would protest gravity, if i thought it would get me buzz." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SkEA0CbVWU0

During this entire investigation he has made his narrative utterly self centered and self promoting, while providing nothing to the investigation except a 50k+ twitter/youtube viewer base.

AND

He is then making 4k a month from well intentioned viewers who think they are paying him to "research"- they simply fell for his latest hyped topic.

Is the pizzagate community supposed to support paying a guy 4k a month because he has 50k + audience? Really?

He appears to be using a metaphor within the overall context of explaining a more important idea.

Gravity statement is immediately followed by "The point is, if you're only doing stuff online you're not differentiating yourself, because there are millions of keyboard jockeys out there (instantly thought of myself hahah).... IF you combine an offline presence with a great online presence it's really powerful."

I'm sorry but I don't see how that's indicative of in authenticity capable of overriding his contribution to this movement. If guilty of anything in that statement it's a disconnect from metaphorical hyperbole.

Another point.. Prefrontal cortex doesn't fully develop until mid 20's....aka you have not reached your full mental capacity yet. Limiting someone based on their past in not a good practice. Chains people and prevents development.

If you listen to the entire video he is talking about offline and online presence as in creating an entire persona in order to create buzz to self promote.

For example: at the end of the interview he talks about why he would prefer negative attention to "meh" mediocre reviews - he wants a "strong reaction" from people. He's literally talking about intentionally going after a negative impression/reaction from people in order to get more hype/views/money.

If this isn't the definition of a sellout I don't know what is.

WOW i'm pretty tired. For some reason that first transition to the person interviewing made me think it had switched to a different segment or something?

will watch rest of it prob. or fall asleep.time will tell

also, devils advocate, even if he is sellout that doesnt actually care about kids, wouldn't it still b good to have him?

also (sorry brain jumping around)... like I don't see what's wrong with having a level of disconnect between an academic ideology and yourself. He's taking joy in being able to analyze effective ideas within his preferred field. I do somewhat similar things with psycholog.. and this is journalism. Surely as a young journo you're indoctrinated into a results based ideology

Because everything he said in the video, he has applied to real life (he says that in the video - that that's what you have to do to be successful) - so this is literally his gameplay for pizzagate.

well if I had developed an internal ideology on how to successfully use guitars, and then ten years later found out that playing music to children could cure them of cancer I wouldn't refuse to use my guitar skills!!

(obv not a great analogy because no negative implications in use of guitar lol) Point being that why shouldn't he use those previously developed skills to help this situation?

(SIDE NOTE : I made this thread because of the censorship not for David lollllll!!)

throwaway345678 ago

That's totally fine and I understand you said you need sleep so I'll stop responding after this post. The truth is important to pizzagate especially even when it's uncomfortable.

David developed his ideology on self promotion based on using any hyped subject by injecting himself into the narrative and making controversial reactions of good or strongly bad. That's word for word the advice and gameplan he talks about in the video. And it's exactly what we've seen happen in the pedogate/Pgate community. We've become divided into very positive or deeply negative reactions. Either way he's gotten a lot of attention for himself personally.

And you're right - this thread has become all about David - which is exactly what he talks about seeking out through negative attention. He said he wants to be the movie with the terrible review because then at least people will be talking about it. Much as we are here now. Much as the community has been. This is EXACTLY what he set out to do and EXACTLY what he wants.

Point being - that what he is doing re: pizzagate is clearly a stunt from his angle. Anyway no more replies from me for now I'm not giving the attention whore more attention hahaha.

All best to you I don't mean to disrespect you at all just want to talk honestly about this.
