This is a good sign, but every new administration fires a lot of the former one's appointments. Let's hope it's the beginning of the end.

From what I understand these were a remaining few, Trump had kept them on for some reason and people were wondering why. Maybe someone else knows more about it.

"As was the case in prior transitions, many of the United States Attorneys nominated by the previous administration already have left the Department of Justice. The Attorney General has now asked the remaining 46 presidentially appointed U.S. Attorneys to tender their resignations in order to ensure a uniform transition."

The bold emphasis is from Zero Hedge article, not me. Apparently they had been kept in the dark about when they would be leaving, though they were probably expecting it.

Thanks -- this is my third reply trying to make that clear. **Number being mentioned is 46 appointed by Obama! **Think all the US Attorney's are supposed to submit their resignations when a new administration comes in. But this looks particularly good. Think there are 100 US Attorney's.

There are 93 U.S. Attorneys located throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands. One U.S. Attorney is assigned to each of the judicial districts, with the exception of Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands where a single U.S. Attorney serves both districts. Each U.S. Attorney is the chief federal law enforcement officer within his or her particular jurisdiction, acting under the guidance of the United States Attorneys' Manual.[5] They supervise district offices with as many as 350 Assistant U.S Attorneys (AUSAs) and as many as 350 support personnel.[6]

Thank-you. So what are your thoughts? (I'm not being sarcastic - just in case :)

Wow ...replied to you and immediately removed. Don't know what's going on. But my thoughts are what I think everyone else is hoping for -- that we will see some increasing activity in removing pedophile rings. These US Attorney's seem to have a good bit of power and man-power if they want to move on something. Let's see who Sessions next appoints. Meanwhile, there's a continuing battle for his resignation. I'm not a fan of Sessions but hoping that he will do what everyone thinks he's been appointed to do. We'll see.

Thank-you. I appreciate your reply. I think your posts are being targeted. Not really.

Think you're saying you think my posts are being targeted, but odd because I'm not an investigator at all, just some one reading and reporting links to move info around. Those who should be the more likely threats to those who don't want these investigations to be read would be the investigators and researchers.

No, I was teasing you, I do not think your posts are being targeted at all, just some craziness going on w/ Voat probably.

I'm in the same "investigator" category as you btw. But I do give out too much personal info about myself, oh well.

OK -- :)

Would be very happy if this is going to mean something action-filled re Pedo-gate. What I meant was that was my third post -- other two were removed for some reason as soon as I posted them. (?????) The Obama story was always that the GOP wouldn't approve his nominees, but seems he got at least 46 thru ultimately. I'm not familiar with any of the US Attorney's. Others here might know more about this.
