I noticed that in these images:

the symbol is reversed depending on which side of the display you are looking at. So

  • if its a company logo / any kind of 'logo' i find it unusual that it is ever reversed. Why do that?
  • The reason i raise the point is this - http://archive.is/8daO#selection-1977.0-1977.26
  • Search on that page for "On the walls of New Grange" - The author raises the point that the spirals are directional

All of this leads me to conclude that the reason the symbol is reversed is that it is a road sign (a directional arrow). It points you towards the pizza depending on your direction of approach.
