Alabama is deplorable with their CPS policies. They are now taking infants from mothers after birth if the mother tests positive for cannabis. Literally wheeling the infants away before the placenta is expelled. And many of these women never see those children again.

Alabama is terrible with child abuse. There are sexual predators (registered) on every other block in city areas. Most for enticing children into homes to rape them.

Poor, uneducated states have the highest concentration of these abusers. These people are able to adopt freely and foster children as long as they pass a drug test and a background check. Literally that is all you need to start collecting $$ for foster care children.

So they get 6-7 kids, lock them in dog kennels and starve them to death. Collecting money well after they have already died.

It's happened three times in 6 years. The same sad scenario...

Why even wait for the birth of the baby? Adoption agencies often trick pregnant women into signing pre-birth consent forms.

In Alabama the consent for birth mother can be signed before birth if it is done in front of a probate judge, after birth before a notary or judge.
