He is alive and well, I'm sure. Imagine the number of people that would be involved in covering up his disappearance. The rest of the wikileaks team, his friend Kim Dotcom (https://twitter.com/kimdotcom/status/793986913304621058)), his lawyer, Hannity (Fox interview, jan 2017), Pamela Anderson, John Pilger (RT inteview, october 30th) and so many others that I forget. They would all be involved in covering up his disappearance or death. This doesn't add up.
