It's time to face facts. Go cold turkey on Facebook. Delete your account which is hard, but just keep digging, allow hours. But of course FB probably never really deletes any accounts at all so -- yeah, go cold turkey. Tell all your friends & family and stop using it. Stop watching all MSM TV. Get rid of every gadget that starts with the word "Smart" especially those your children are carrying around. NEVER FORGET: #Vault7 revealed that the pedos in the CIA Mafia can easily watch and listen and masturbate to our kids all day long and sell the footage.
Last few posts were the day my Dad & my kittycat died, back in 2012.
Absolutely thrilled that I actually did it & was able to walk the fuck away. And this was long before I really knew the depths of their shit.
Of ANY of this shit.
Looking back, the past few yrs have been life-changing in what I believe now vs then. And I'm a full grown woman, not a 20-something who may not have realized the charade yet.
Still, not tempted to ever go back~ not even a little bit~
actually ditching social media is very good for you mentally. its been shown by psychology, science and common sense to be very bad for you, as an individual, as a family and as a society.
For a moment I thought you were exagerating when you said the cia can masterbate and record to our kids. Than I remembered the head of the CIA was George Bush at one time.
I think a better option is for the public to stage a mutiny and strike against the corporate establishment government a-la-south korea (we could never be that united as a nation though). If we could manage to organize and all collectively be on the same page, we could overthrow the government, seize facebook and all their assets, and infiltrate all manufacturing of 'smart' devices and eliminate any potential for fuckery. Why should we pay the price because some power hungry asshats cant use technology responsibly and ethically? By choosing not to participate and essentially boycotting and eliminating the possibility of yourself and your family being spied on doesnt do shit to address the root cause of the issue.
Yep. Facebook is terrible and useless now, it's only real purpose is to spy on and brainwash people. You know something is dying when the teenagers won't use it because it's for "old people".
I haven't deleted it since I still use it for dating (women want to check your shit out these days before giving a number) but checking my FB feed is hilarious. It's like a ghost town where only the "justified" and "educated" and "moderate" and truly incensed by Trump HRC heads think they're leading some sort of #resistance without realizing that it's not just the conservatives that have logged off but many of the non fanatic Libs as well. The other funny thing is when ever I post an opinion (not about PG but about censorship, mainly, as well as Syria; I only talk in person about PG if I'm trying to convince) I get passive aggressive replies, meaning the replies are not directly attached to my post but on their own wall without mentioning my name but clearly attempting to attack the point of view and content I just posted (usually by referencing the all knowing "fake news" meme that's supposed to tell you what's real or not in the media) and of course issuing my POV a label through lesser of 2 evil rational, which is sad--MSM and their framing of others POV rather than establishing their own is all they got left. Edit: I tried (it was shadow banned until I asked a friend to share it) to post a link to the Stanford paper about how there was more fake news coming from MSM and HRC's camp than Trumps, and immediately my feed was filled with the fake news meme. I mean, I know Stanford's not on the verified news meme, but it's an actual academic source. How the hell could it be defined as fake news. When I talked to one those people in person, they claimed I had misread the paper (even tho she did not read the paper but a summary about it from a "real news" outlet). Fucking unreal
Completely delete your profile, it's better. To fully get rid of it, you have to delete every picture on your profile, otherwise it won't actually be deleted.
I left mine a year and a half ago. Best decision I've ever made. The only time I hear people talk about it anymore is when they are talking about massive polarized arguments they have gotten into. And most of the time both sides are completely misinformed.
I deleted my facebook about a month ago. I have no idea what narratives are right now, mind you.
I had a co worker today tell me that she can't believe what's going on with Donald lying about Obama's wiretapping and that Donald's work with the Russians is going to put us in another world war with North Korea. I asked her where she's getting this information, because I am all over current events and I haven't heard any of these things. She told me the stuff was all over Facebook.
I proceeded to explain to her, very carefully, what about each of her claims were incorrect. And what is happening. And what may happen in the future. What Trump is doing right now. She was argumentative at first, but I kept very calmly reassuring her that I know what I'm talking about. Eventually I got her to hear me and she sort of understands just how manipulated she is being. And that, of her claims that she made to me, none of them turned out to be true.
It's gotten to the point where I am not even all that willing to respond to people who spew a facebook narrative at me. I can smell bullshit when it's right in front of me lol.
Same! Thankfully my coworker who gets her news in the same fashion is always willing to have an actual discussion rather than an argument. Unfortunately whenever I prove a point she just says, well I just have an emotional view of the world.
Yup! Ya sure do honey! And that is how you get manipulated!
I told her that she needs to stop letting these big networks and entities scare her. I said "if the only thing the news did is scare and confuse you today, then you haven't gotten all the news." Let's be real, we live in an ugly world. We even live in an ugly world that is slowly but surely being improved by the whitehats around us. But the only thing that comes from this world isn't ugly. Yeah, I make fun of Buzzfeed because their journalism is just wretched, but shit sometimes I really do need to read an article about how dog lovers are generally happier than cat lovers. Parallel to that, MSM outlets aren't only putting out things that scare us.
I explained to said co-worker that we are reaching a new age of investigative journalism. We have reached a new age of crowd-sourced datamining and compiling. I explained to her that the MSM is absolutely not to be trusted, citing the Countering Disinformation and Propaganda Act of 2016, and I saw that she was very receptive to that. It's a lot easier to tell someone who is controlled by the media that they're being lied to by said media, if you can pull up a document that states that the powers that be tell them to lie sometimes.

Anyone know of a tool to edit/rewrite all of your posts? Like the tool for reddit?

Better to just stop using it. I bet they are compiling a list of everyone leaving. I'm done with that piece of crap on so many levels.
