SplinterItIntoAThousandPiecesAndScatterItIntoTheWinds: Be careful. Is the release information to help us or a honeytrap? Everyone be very careful and know what you're doing with this.
The dump was a contingency in case the Ecuadorian Embassy got droned. It's all up on their site, and it's mostly about the CIA having their own internal NSA so they don't have to follow the same rules. Seems like the NSA is a skeleton crew now, and their stuff (intel, cyber weapons, zero day exploits, and definitely staff) went over to this Directorate of Digital Innovation at the CIA. It's interesting, but nothing in here about Pedogate.
Of course, they're only focusing on one of the 5 directorates of the CIA with this release, and other releases are pending. One of these directorates is likely involved in liaison operations with State and with private interests like NCMEC. Time will tell. Illicit activities in the US for the benefit of agents probably happen under the "Operations" or "Support" Directorates, not "Digital Innovation," which is what Zero Year focuses on. According to Wikileaks, Zero Year and the broader Vault 7 will both have additional releases.
My guess is that the really scary stuff, the MKultra type shit that does relate to Pizzagate, that's all coming soon, too. Wouldn't surprise me if it's all interoperative though, with exploits being used to monitor test subjects for their sick psychiatric experiments at home. After all, these crazy fucks created the Unibomber, and we're not sure if it was on purpose or not.
I hope you are right, but I am unconvinced that the CIA is not controlling things with Wikileaks now. There has been good evidence (change of communication style, tweet patterns, lack of follow through on insurance and PGP, not appearing for a live picture at the Embassy). With the current tech, it is easy to create some fake interviews that look unbelievably real, and I have seen some analysis showing CGI that is hard to debunk.
If the release is intended as a trap, what better trap than to capture hackers and people with a HIGH interest to expose the CIA? We just should be suspicious.
I don't think it will. Too much momentum. If it helps reveal the LSM for what it is (mouthpiece for CIA), it will be very helpful to open more minds, which is the primary mission for us right now.
"Recently, the CIA lost control of the majority of its hacking arsenal including malware, viruses, trojans, weaponized "zero day" exploits, malware remote control systems and associated documentation. This extraordinary collection, which amounts to more than several hundred million lines of code, gives its possessor the entire hacking capacity of the CIA. The archive appears to have been circulated among former U.S. government hackers and contractors in an unauthorized manner, one of whom has provided WikiLeaks with portions of the archive."

Attachments with other binary content are replaced by a hex dump of the content to prevent accidental invocation of binaries that may have been infected with weaponized CIA malware. As the content is assessed it may be made available; until then the content is redacted.

Maybe it's not directly Pizzagate related, but skimming through it, the publication still looks pretty damn serious to me.

If it's some amazing CIA hacking software, ccant PG researchers then use it to help in their investigations?

That was anticlimactic. I think WL just gave me an inverted penis.

Fuck this. I already assume EVERYTHING I do with any reasonably advanced appliance can be monitored and hacked by the Deep State.
This is the very definition of a limited hangout. RIP Wikileaks.

Understandable, but why would they just their own secret NSA copycat outfit?

Fair enough. Hopefully this doesn't drown out PG investigations.

Looks like it's some CIA hacking software. No "leaks" per se, just the software.
anon_sense ago
But these leaks seem to be in a series - so this is just part 1?
